COIL Project

Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) will support course development for teaching partnerships and will be linked to online academies where participating instructors will receive professional development training and instruction on implementing virtual exchanges in their classrooms. Based on an “experiential modelling” approach, I have started my COIL classes projects in 2016. Through this process I have collaborated and engaged with 3 different international faculty in Honduras and China. During this process my students completed tasks and engaged with international students in Honduras and China and at the same time presented my project in April 2019 at a conference in Greece and Ohio University part of an experiential learning.
